The new large sculpture entitled 'Aphrodisian' is the first new work of the latest portfolio release by Eric Torriente also entitled 'Aphrodisian' created in 2011. The new mixed media sculpture, measuring almost nine feet in height consists of a central male character surrounded by seductive females. The piece insinuates that the male character is in a fantasty or state of sexual ecstasy while imagining differnt female counterparts. In the back of the sculpture you are presented with the central male characters wife or partner who sits alone reading a list of letters which adds an underlying ambiguous tone to the overall sculpture.
